Gameplay data — rounds played, scores, strokes, handicap history, and course selections
Device information — device type, operating system, and app version for diagnostic purposes
Location data — approximate location when you play a round, used to display regional stats (optional; you may deny this permission)
Usage data — how you interact with the App, collected via PostHog analytics

How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your account
To calculate and display your handicap and game stats
To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset)
To improve the App through anonymized analytics
To display aggregated global stats (e.g. total rounds played by region)

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

Supabase — database and authentication (supabase.com)
PostHog — product analytics (posthog.com)
Resend — transactional email delivery (resend.com)

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the email below.

Children's Privacy

BevGolf is intended for users aged 12 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 12. If you believe a child under 12 has created an account, please contact us at support@bevgolf.app and we will promptly delete the account.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
